This course is an Introduction to Functional Technique.
Functional technique, like Muscle Energy work, is another one of the subtle and effective Osteopathic approaches employed to release bind, or restricted movement, within the body framework. Experience with Muscle Energy work is a preferred prerequisite. If you are interested, but are unsure that you have the requisite experience, please call or email to speak with Howard.
A basic overview of muscle-spindle physiology will be provided, followed by a thorough, practical understanding, and application of principles, of Functional Technique.
A follow-up course, and half-day Study Sessions will be offered, later, to those who complete this course. This course earns RMTs 12 CE credits.
Howard briefly assesses each participant at course completion, to ensure their physiological equilibrium.

Fees: $325.00 . - a $165.00 deposit is required one week in advance, to book this course.
Massage Tables: We will need four massage tables for the workshop - therefore, I am offering a $50.00 discount to the first four people to submit their deposits for the course, and who also agree to provide a massage table for the duration of the weekend course.
Participants: The maximum number of participants will be eight, so book as soon as possible to ensure a place.
